3 days trip from Marrakech to Fez (desert)
This interim is recommended for people wishing to visit two Moroccan imperial cities at the same time while crossing the desert: Marrakech and Fez.
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades
After breakfast, departure to the south of the village of Ait Ourir, the road narrows and begins to climb to cross the 2260-metre port of Tiz-in Tichka.
You can see small villages kept alive by rivers such as tighremt (barn) and Irhem N’Ougdal . Continuing the road, you will find another jewel of the region, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ait Ben Haddou. A fortification with towers, which is one of the best in the Kasbha Glaui region. You will then arrive in Ouarzazate, visit the city and then you will discover the city of Skoura. Afterwards, a walk through the palm grove (Desert Tours) will take you to discover the secrets of the Kasbah and the lush vegetation.
Day 2: Dades – Las Gargantas De Todra – Erfoud – Merzouga (Desert):
After breakfast, you continue to Merzouga through the Todra gorges (the largest gorges in Morocco, where climbers do their activities). You continue to Erfoud through the largest Fogara, regazione sestema, Bedouin pubos of southern Morocco arriving in Merzouga where you will find the camels that promise you a journey through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and accommodation in Berber tents in the middle of the desert, one of the most beautiful places, where you can admire the sunrise and sunset and a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Valle Del Ziz – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane -Fez:
After breakfast, back to the desert to leave for Fez, through the largest valley in southern Morocco, the famous cedar forest of the High Atlas, where several types of monkeys live, an important craft center arrives in Azrou), the city of Ifrane, a station of great charm, Imouzar el kandar and finally arrive in Fez. End of the trip.
